Thought-Provoking Technical Tours

Take an inspirational trek through the host city of Montréal, an epicenter of intelligent transporation, on a variety of technical tours showcasing the advancements in the connected city’s complex transportation system—from port to underground, bike path to roadway. The tours, which require separate registration, take guests behind the scenes in some of the city’s most innovative sites, including the City of Montréal’s Urban Mobility Management Center, PMG’s Motor Vehicle Test and Research Center and the Society of Transportation de Montréal’s iBus Operations Center. With 13 tour options to choose from, there are opportunities for attendees of all interests to explore intelligent transporation efforts in a variety of categories, including harbor, trucking, bus, connectivity, traffic management, sensors, commuter rail, and motor vehicle testing.

An Interactive Exploration of Smart City Solutions

Take a virtual journey to the connected cities of Christchurch, New Zealand; Columbus, Ohio; Copenhagen, Denmark; Montréal, Quebec City, Canada; and Singapore in the Smart Cities Pavilion, an interactive showcase of intelligent transportation at ITS World Congress 2017.
